My clients tend to describe me as warm, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I am originally from Amsterdam in Holland, but have lived in Barcelona for almost 25 years, so I combine an international perspective with deep local knowledge. I have been a guide and a chef for more than 15 years and am passionate about creating unique and memorable experiences that are normally available only to locals or insiders. I have a masters in Spanish and the History of Spain. I also lecture in various masters programs on Tourism, Hospitality and Gastronomy around Europe. My speciality is helping clients understand how people live here, how they think, how they eat, and what a Barcelona lifestyle actually feels like.
