We begin in the Old Town, where Barcelona was born. Walking through its medieval streets, I connect Roman foundations, Gothic splendor, and Catalan identity so the city makes sense as a whole. From there, we explore the elegance of the Eixample and the great Modernist masters — Antoni Gaudí, his teachers, and his rivals — understanding the creativity that reshaped the city. We visited Barcelona in 2022 and toured La Sagrada Familia with Florenta V. She was great. Had a few hours in Barcelona this October before going on a cruise and wanted to see our favorite Barcelona site again. I contacted Florenta, she was available and I booked her. This time I was joined by friends. They travel at least half the year and were very impressed with Florenta. While she is warm, friendly and lovely she is actually very professional. We had no difficulty understanding her English, she tested our knowledge and there was no question she could not answer. We cannot recomend her highly enough!
Florenta is absolutely AMAZING!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. The tour was well planned and she is a book of knowledge about history. We learned so much while exploring the city and sites with her along with the culture. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour experience. If you have any doubts, book her today!
Florenta led our family of four on a wonderful six hour walking tour of Barcelona. Florenta was by far our best tour guide on our two week visit to Europe and was fun, informative and personable. When the tour ended we were all very thankful that we had spent the day exploring with Florenta and learning about Barcelona. I would rate our tour six stars.
Our tour guide was the best. She made us feel that we have know her for a long time. Her knowledge was deep and was very passionate about Barcelona. After a couple of questions she intuitively knew how to structure the tour and we couldn't have been more pleased. Easy dialog.
