Montserrat: a unique blend of Spirituality and History. 5 Hour Tour.

Suzie was AMAZING. She made everything so easy about seeing all the sights we wanted to see. (Park Guell, Sagrada Familia and Monserrate) She is very knowledgeable and told us soooo much we would never have known. She had all the tickets taken care of so we were able to just walk right in to the sights....NO waiting!! She showed us the important facts and parts of each sight. She arranged a wonderful lunch at the cutest little countryside place. It was so good and just perfect! Jordie, our driver, was a master as well. He maneuvered us through all the traffic and got us safely to each of our sights and back to our boat on time! The van was clean and he provided us with as much water as we needed. We are soooo pleased with Suzie and Jordie. They made our Barcelona trip beyond fabulous!!

Our tour of Montserrat with Suzi was nothing short of exceptional. We had already toured with her once before, and she remembered so many little details about us that made this experience feel incredibly personal. From the moment we arrived, Suzi shared her extensive knowledge of Montserrat's history, traditions, and spiritual significance in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. Every stop had meaning because of the stories she told. One of the highlights was riding the funicular and taking in the breathtaking views of the mountains. While part of our group walked with Suzi to the cross, a few of us chose to stay behind to attend Vespers. Listening to the monks chanting in the basilica was a deeply moving experience that we'll never forget, and Suzi made sure everyone could enjoy the experience they wanted. Visiting the Black Madonna was another unforgettable moment. Suzi thoughtfully took a photograph of each person as they touched the Black Madonna, giving us a keepsake we'll treasure forever. At the end of the tour, she surprised each of us with a beautiful prayer card and medal of the Black Madonna—a thoughtful gift that perfectly commemorated such a special place. What touched us the most was Suzi's kindness and attention to detail. She remembered from our first tour that I loved the local biscotti and surprised us by buying some for us to enjoy. It was such an unexpected gesture that perfectly reflects the kind of guide she is...someone who genuinely cares about the people in the tour group and not just the places she's visiting. Suzi is warm, knowledgeable, organized, and passionate about sharing the beauty and history of Montserrat. She goes far beyond simply guiding a tour. She creates meaningful experiences and lasting memories. If you're planning a visit to Montserrat, don't hesitate to book with Suzi. She is truly outstanding, and thanks to her, what was already a beautiful destination became one of the most memorable days of our trip. We would choose to tour with her again without hesitation. We really enjoyed this tour and the expert local knowledge provided by Suzie. Her punctuality was greatly appreciated. Suzie was insightful and informative, directing our attention to various points of interest along the right to Montserrat. Suzie is unabashed when it comes to politely and courteously asking a large group taking forever at a “photo“ if we could jump in for a quick picture. Never was any member of the other group offended or upset by her request. We never felt rushed nor abandoned during the tour. Suzie is very flexible with you during the tours. She would offer alternatives to the traditional tour and leave it up to us which direction we wanted the tour to go. Early in the tour, I let Suzie know that I had difficulty hearing her because of tinnitus. She understood and step closer to me when providing her description and details of various points in Montserrat was appreciated that she just didn’t speak louder, drawing attention to us. In spite of troubling weather Suzie had our back. She made sure we had umbrellas and scheduled our stops so we could get the most out of Barcelona no matter the weather. Absolutely recommend her to everyone.
