Full Day Trip from Barcelona: Montserrat and Lunch in Sitges

What a spectacular day we had with Florenta. The moment she met us at our hotel in Barcelona we knew we were going to have a special day— And we certainly did! The calm stroll along the wonderful viewpoints leading to the Abbey, the tour of Basilica and the ride on the funicular to the stunning views at the mountain top were all perfectly planned. (Florenta also took great photos of us along the way.) The leisurely in lunch in Sitges was also fabulous with Florenta helping us select from the menu and adding a delicious black rice paella. Finally, after driving us back to our hotel Florenta added a quick tour of the nearby cathedral. We have enjoyed many tours with Tours by Locals and I will remember our time with Florenta as the best of the best. Mil gracias Florenta…

Florenta made our tour very personal - like we were family. Very knowledgeable, tailors tour to specific interests and abilities. Quite gracious, caring, and focused on our having the very best experience.

We had an absolutely lovely time. We first went to Montserrat . Such beautiful views! The drive there was breathtaking ,and Florenta was a great safe driver.We saw the boys choir while there. Then we went to an absolutely beautiful , delicious and relaxing place on the seafront for lunch in Sitges. We recommend this Tour with Florenta without hesitation.

There aren't enough words to describe how wonderful Florenta is!! She accommodated all of our Barcelona desires with ease and enthusiasm. Despite being one of the few rainy days in the city, we absolutely had a blast - moved to the front of every line, got excellent photos, rescued a baby bird, and learned SO much about the history of Spain!! Our only regret is that we didn't have more days with her to explore, but...we WILL be back again soon and do additional tours with her in and around Barcelona!! If you have kids, book Florenta!! It was wonderful having Florenta as our tour guide again. She is warm and welcoming. Florenta engaged our 17 year old in conversational Spanish during our tour which was very nice as after 4 years of spanish, we had never heard him speak Spanish! We had a fantastic time at Montserrat, including a hike and experience in the church with the Boys Choir followed by an exceptional lunch by the sea in Stiges. Forenta is a wonderful person and tour guide. We will be contacting her again on our next trip to Barcelona.
