Montserrat: Mountain, Monastery & Sanctuary with a Local Guide

Embark on an unforgettable journey to Montserrat, a place where history, spirituality, and nature converge harmoniously. Enjoy a guided visit of Montserrat Monastery where I will discover you the most important historical events and the significance of this Benedictine Monasery founded on XI century. As you tour the Monastery's Gotic Cloister, Atrium, Basilica and Black Madonna I will explain the fascinating legends and secrets of Montserrat. Continue riding Sant Joan Funicular Cable Car up the Mountain to discover Montserrat Natural Park as you enjoy breathtaking landscapes from some of my favourite viewpoints. This tour includes a funicular ride and a soft hike (suitable for everyone). You can choose between easy or intermediate hike (if you don't want to hike at all, it is possible to visit the Espai Audiovisual museum instead). After the pleasant hike we will come back to the Monastery where you will have some free time to relax, sample some local products at the farmer's market & souvenir shop.

- Hop aboard a comfortable eight-seater van for a scenic 1-hour drive - Start the day visiting the Benedictine monastery before the crowds arrive. Explore its most beautiful parts and discoveri its amazing history legends and secrets. - You will visit the Black Madonna of Montserrat, the shrine that turned this monsatery into a major piligrimage place in Spain. (Skip the line ticket included) - Continue taking the funicular up the mountain to discover the unique views over the abbey and Catalonia. -I will get you to one of my favourite viewpoints, from where I will discover you how Montserrat was geologicly formed. - From here its possible to do soft hike around the mountain or get back down by funicular. -After admiring those great landscapes and taking some pictures we will get back to the Monastery, where you will have free time to eat and visit the farmers market before leaving back to Barcelona.
