Hence, nothing makes me happier than combining these great loves of mine to create an authentic Dutch experience for you! Tall, blonde, and a big cheese lover, that's me! As you can probably tell, I was born and bred in the Netherlands (the Hague to be precise) and I moved to Amsterdam 8 years ago. It was always my dream to live in the Dutch capital, and I can't wait to show you my reasons why. I'm a History graduate of the University of Leiden (the oldest university in the Netherlands) and I finished my Masters in Arts and Culture. My specializations are Dutch history and Dutch paintings from the 17th century (the Dutch Golden Age). This tour includes a visit to a classic Dutch house, a picturesque walk alongside the historic canals, and a stop at the amazing Rijksmuseum, which is our national gallery. This off-the-beaten-path tour will entail a visit to the Jordaan area, where you can peruse peaceful courtyards, discover a secret passageway, and catch a glimpse of not-yet-discovered islands. The tours that I offer are created from my point of view so that that you walk away with a richinsight into the Dutch culture and everything else my beautiful country has to offer.
