Hello from Mexico, and thank you for visiting my site. I hope that with these lines you can get to know me a bit. I was born and raised in Mexico City 35 years ago so can assure you will be with a local. Since I was little, my parents always tried to show me the world in different ways. By reading books, traveling whenever we could, and visiting museums, as well.
I have always been very inquisitive. This took me to try different experiences to find my true passion. It was in 2014 when I finally found it, I moved to Riviera Maya ( what a beautiful paradise) and there the opportunity was presented to me so I decided to take it. I began understanding the heritage of my culture which lead me to begin with my official certification as a tour guide. In order to be one, you have to have some skills, even though it sounds like an easy job (it is wonderful do not get me wrong) it has as every job, its challenges. You have to meet people from all over the world, learn different languages, in my case English and German and try to sum up centuries of history in a couple of hours. You also need to explain it in such a way, that is easy to understand and you have to deal sometimes with a cultural shock which is quite common. I have always been a people person, therefore, I studied psychology at University, but this great mixture between history, behavior, and mindset, made me realize how interesting I find anthropology.

Since 2017 I decided to move back to my hometown Mexico City and I began guiding in the places that I used to visit as a guest. Teotihuacan, The National Anthropology Museum, The Chapultepec Castle, The Zocalo and Downtown, Frida Kahlo's Blue House, Xochimilco, among others.
Then I had the opportunity to begin traveling with groups thru different routes of the Mexican Republic. We went from Mexico City to Cancun on a road trip, making stops in wonderful places such as Puebla, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan. I get excited only to think about all the stories to tell from each place. There is also another great route starting in Mexico City heading to Guanajuato, Zacatecas, Tequila, Michoacan, and Guadalajara, each of these destinations is unique.

Guiding is a beautiful way of living that keeps me moving daily not only physically but also mindfully. The gasoline that moves this little motor whenever I go and offer a tour is you, the guests. Coming from all around the world and those Oh wow! moments that I will never get tired of. The questions, whenever you think you are done learning about a place, there comes that doubt or this perspective that makes you go back to the books and find more information about the topic, and enrich your knowledge about the landmarks.
So, the first step you have already done it. The destination you are choosing is so rich in culture. Allow me please to take you by the hand and show you all the wonders that this great country has to offer.

I have certification as an official general tour guide in Mexico which was issued by the Secretary of Tourism. In order to get it, I had to study different topics related to the Mexican history and culture and at the end pass an exam. That was not it because we need to be updated and self-taught by reading plenty history books.

I am not a driver but I will get a private vehicle with a driver for you.

Frida is and will be one of the most iconic characters of the Mexican History and a symbol of women empowerment. She was born and raised in Mexico City at the beginning of the 20th Century in Casa Azul where Frida spent her childhood. She got married to Diego Rivera even though they had a big age difference, they shared their passion for art. They lived in the Casa Azul together but after affairs, lies, and several reconciliations they decided to share 2 houses that were connected by a bridge in the beautiful neighborhood of San Angel.

After Frida died, Diego mentioned that a part of him died with her to and he was putting all his efforts into building a place where he could share the love they had for art. That is when he began building the Anahuacalli that unfortunately, he could not see finished. These three museums host Frida and Diego's personal belongings that guide us thru their love story and their inspiration to create all their pieces of work that we can nowadays appreciate.

We will pick your luggage from your hotel and wait at the show room for you guys to be ready.  After that we will ride to Coyoacan. 

A picturesque neighborhood where Frida Kahlo lived we will see her house from outside and enjoy a walk around the market.

After having some time for shopping we will have lunch at los danzantes a beautiful terrace by the park of Coyoacan where you can enjoy food specialities from Oaxaca. (lunch not included in price)

We will begin right at your hotel we will pick you up at take you to the starting point, that would be plaza Luis Cabrera learning about the architecture and history of this neighborhood. We will keep going thru Orizaba avenue to get to one of the most iconic avenues in Roma. later head toward Plaza Río de Janeiro and later crossing the largest avenue in Latin America to get to the the border of Condesa and Roma.

The fountain of Las Cibeles is a great spot for pictures, there are plenty of restaurants that will be recommended to you. Later on we will pass by some roundabouts and 2 of the most famous parks in Mexico City. Ending at the most famous spot to get churros around the CIty.
