Guide #63194
Hello! My name is Arturo, and I am passionate about my country's history. I have been a professional tour guide for over a decade, specializing in various types of tourism. I hold a diploma as a General Tour Guide from the National School of Anthropology and History in Mexico City and another as a Guide Translator from the Association of Guide Translators, Tour Guides, and Tour Managers in Moscow, Russia. I am fluent in English and Russian, with Spanish as my native language. Three things ignite my passion: Baroque music, genealogy, and the history of my country. As a tour guide, I have the privilege of sharing these passions with travellers. I've traversed half of Mexico, showcasing our magnificent pre-Hispanic cities, beautiful Spanish magic towns, and unparalleled natural sanctuaries. In Russia, I guided visitors through Moscow and its treasures. I take pride in providing a relaxed and enjoyable experience for my tourists. I never rush through tours, allowing ample time for exploration and questions. I can also assist with taking pictures to capture your special moments. My patience and dedication ensure that everyone has a memorable and enriching experience. In addition to guiding, I have a background in opera singing, performing both as a soloist and in some of Mexico's most renowned choirs, as well as in several European cities. I dedicate much of my time to rescuing, transcribing, and singing European and New Spanish Baroque music. As a musician, I participated in a couple of films: one Mexican, as an actor, and another Brazilian, as part of the soundtrack. I am also a professional genealogist and have traced my family tree back to the 16th century. Many of my ancestors were prominent figures in New Spain, so my family's history is deeply intertwined with the history of my country. I love bringing history to life through vivid narratives and anecdotes. I strive to make each tour an immersive and educational experience, where travellers can connect with the rich cultural heritage of the places we visit. Grant me the honor of being your guide and introducing you to Mexico that doesn't appear in movies, the one I am proud of and want to share with all visitors.
