Hello and thank you for reading about me, Roberta! I was born and raised in Rome, I have dedicated many years of my life to art history and archaeology. I have taken a Degree at the PIAC, the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology.
I have worked as a tour leader for leading Italian and American tour operators in Rome. I love my Ancient City and wish to share it with you! My interests in the arts and history fields as a young child led me to start working as a professional tour guide, which I have been doing with great enthusiasm since 2009, when I obtained my licence. I also have a special licence for the Vatican City which allows me to cooperate with many groups and families. I speak fluently in English, French and Spanish, and have graduated in Political Science. I love travelling the world and all animals, in particular dogs and cats.

This excursion will take you to the heart of the Roman Catholic Religion - The Vatican City: to explore St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum, and the Sistine Chapel. You'll visit the world famous Vatican Museum, where an exceptional collection of artwork from every era is on display. Over one thousand rooms and galleries contain thousands of amazing treasures collected by the Popes throughout the centuries.

You will have time to only see a portion of the many beautiful pieces of work. Then, you'll visit the Sistine Chapel, highlighted by Michelangelo's masterpieces, the impressive frescoes, including the "Last Judgment. " Finally, you'll visit St. Peter's Basilica, the largest church in the world
Among the many fine pieces of art and mosaics on display are Michelangelo's "Pieta" and the beautifully carved Bernini Pulpit. You will skip the lines to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. You will have time for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, a drive through Rome to visit the historic Colosseum

The Holy Father holds a General Audience most Wednesday mornings in Vatican City at 10:30 a. m. The audience is held in either St. Peter's Square or the Paul VI audience hall. Tickets are required to attend the Papal Audience. I will reserve the entrance tickets which are entirely free for your family in advance of your arrival. Our service includes meeting you at your location (hotel) and transfering you to the event as well as returning you after the event. I will assist you with the crowds that can be very overwhelming for families. As well I can assist in directing the handicapped or disabled people who need assistance with a special entrance away from the crowd. There is a process that I'm aware of to make this special event and enjoyable and memorable day in Rome. I loook forward to assisting you with booking this special day in Rome.

The audience is a chance to pray with the Holy Father and receive his blessing, which is imparted to all present and to their families and friends.
