I spent several years at the Imperial forums Museum, I will help you get your bearings! Step by step, the massive remains unfold their history, building techniques and functions, and come back to life! Also thank to reconstructions and maps, we discover how they have changed through the centuries. The Colosseum is the largest amphitheater ever built in ancient Rome! Built to celebrate the empire, the arena presented games of great popular appeal, such as hunts and gladiatorial fights. The Roman Forum was the centre of public life for over a millennium, from the foundation of Rome to imperial time. Here are the ruins of the main political, religious and representative buildings. Palatine Hill, where Rome was founded, houses the massive remains of Imperial Palaces. From here you enjoy a stunning view over the Forum.

Colosseum with Palatine and Forum Tour – We had been warned that visiting the Colosseum on our own could be challenging, so we chose to use tours by locals for our visit. As soon as we met Alessandra, we knew we were in good hands. Alessandra expertly guided us through the queue, security checks and navigating the Colosseum. She shared with us several pictures of the Colosseum, Palatine and Forum over time to help explain the many changes, allowing us to compare what was there then to what is there now. Her knowledge of the history is vast, and she was able to share with us in a way we could understand. I know our time in the Colosseum and Palatine Hill would not have been the same without Alessandra as our Guide.

The itinerary could be on the reverse according to Colosseum time slot tickets. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different. -Please bring a copy of your passport (paper copy or photo on your phone), the tickets are nominal and a copy of your documents must be shown.
