Exclusive Shore Excursion to Rome - Full Day Trip from Civitavecchia

Huge thank you to Sabino for his amazing personalized tour of the eternal city. As soon as we stepped off our cruise ship, Sabino was waiting there with his roomy Mercedes van to take my party of four (including an elderly disabled woman with a walker) on an incredible eight hour tour. Sabino’s encyclopedic knowledge of history, religion, art, architecture, politics, and human nature, along with his humor, made for a fascinating and entertaining day. He drove us around the entire city, to all of the major sites and hidden gems. Along the way, we stopped for coffee and pastries at a neighborhood bar, mingled with locals, and then hit some iconic spots for photos. Sabino drove us through areas and piazzas inaccessible by most cars so we could get the vibe from the many neighborhoods. The benefit of the overview is that we identified which areas we wanted to return to the next few days that interested us. I highly recommend Sabino if you want to experience Rome in a day so you can maximize the rest of your trip and focus on the sites that really interest you.

Fabulous Tour from Sabino!!! He promptly picked us up from Civitavecchia cruise port holding a sign with our name. From the minute we got in his Mercedes van he was very engaging and had a fabulous sense of humor. Upon arriving to Rome, Sabino brought us to a little coffee place to get a beverage and a treat to start our day. He was extremely knowledgeable of ALL the landmarks in Rome and made the tour enjoyable with his efficiency and dynamic personality. Sabino also booked an authentic Italian lunch location for us….. the food and experience was amazing! This tour will undoubtedly be one of our best memories!

Four of us booked this tour following our Viking cruise. Sabino picked us up on time at the ship dock and gave us a wonderful tour of Rome. He was accommodating with our hotel and dropping off our luggage and taking us back to our hotel. He was very knowledgeable and professional with his tour and he certainly knows the roads! We had a fantastic Rome highlights tour with Sabino! He arrived at the cruise ship port right on time made great time in getting us into Rome. He shared a wealth of knowledge about Rome as we toured the city. The day was planned out perfectly, allowing us more time at certain stops when requested.
