Ciao! My name is Riccardo, I'm 37 and I was born and raised in Rome. I've been a driver-guide for 14 years now. I offer limo service for shore excursions, city tours, transfers. Your every wish will be fulfilled! My passion for art, history and good food will make your vacation memorable! I am very fond of art history and especially of the Roman era. I will know how to delight you with my passion for my country, especially Rome and its surroundings. My favorite archaeological sites are the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Hadrian's villa in Tivoli and the papal palace in Castel Gandolfo. My favorite food is Carbonara and the best place in Rome to try it is. . . At my house! :) Do not hesitate to choose me as your guide because I'm sure I have something more that distinguishes me from others! Owner of a fully insured vehicle with Limo Car Authorization (Ncc), driver's license. Professional Certificates (Iscrizione Ruolo and C.A.P.). I graduated in foreign languages (English). I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments. I will give you the most important historical information and tips from the vehicle.

I was born and raised in Rome and I am very fond of art history and especially of the Roman era. I love living in Rome because every single corner, every single stone speaks of thousands of years! On this tour we will discover together some of the best sites in Rome - the Colosseum, Palatine Hill with its Emperor Houses, the Victor Emanuel Monument and many more. Do you know why one of these sites is called the "Wedding Cake"? Let's find out together. My favorite place in town and which I keep in my heart more than the others, is the Pantheon where about 14 years ago I met the person who would later become my wife!

Riccardo was so helpful in planning our day. He helped establish a timeline so we could maximize the sites we wanted to visit. Comfortable, clean and cool van for our party of 6. Great communication and so friendly and helpful.
Riccardo is a wonderful person and took us from the port - Rome - hotel. Our time in Rome was nice- the only disappointing factor was the we had all our luggage in his van. He was concerned about the safety of the vehicle and the luggage- so he stayed with the van -- because of this we were basically on our own, unless the van was 'in sight'. So we walked and visited some of the sites on our own, without his expertise as a tour guide.
My wife and I were interested in spending a full day sightseeing in Rome. Our cruise ship docked in Civitavecchia. We wanted to ensure that we return to our ship comfortably before its departure. Several of the Rome-based private guides want to meet you in Rome and have you arrange separate transportation. Riccardo C. provided a wonderful service that met our needs. He met us just as we disembarked from our ship (no shuttle bus). Although he is not a licensed tour guide, he is quite knowledgeable. He is also very gracious and considerate. His vehicle is very comfortable. At our request, he arranged for a (very knowledgeable) private guide at the Vatican Museums. We also enjoyed a wonderful small group tour at the Borghese Galleries. He personally connected us with guides or dropped us off at the entrances at each of our stops. The day was not only very interesting, but also relaxing and stress-free. Riccardo dropped us off at our ship 9 hours later. We recommend Riccardo C. very highly and with absolutely no reservation.
Rome is magical, and Riccardo is an amazing guide. As a small group of women, including one with mobility limitations, we thrilled with Riccardo's attentiveness and ability to adapt to the group needs. After touring the Colosseum, our less able member stayed with Riccardo while we went to the Spanish Steps. She was so happy to have visited and learned so much about him when we returned! We visited Trevvi Fountain, then drove through the city, learning so much history as we toured. Riccardo took us to lunch at a restaurant his family had used for celebrations for at least 30 years! It was wonderful! We saw the Sistine Chapel, then enjoyed every minute driving back to our ship! What a fantastic day!
Excellent your. Worked perfectly from port pick up to hotel drop off with FASCINATING tour in between—highly recommend.
- I will pick you up at Civitavecchia Port in front of the ship to drive you to Rome (1hr20). - Once in Rome the first stop will be the Colosseum: you can visit it inside OR take a tour of the Catacombs. - From the Colosseum we will keep driving to Aventine Hill where we will stop for a nice view to Palatine Hill with its Emperor Houses and the Circus Maximus down below. - We will drive to another of the 7 hills of Rome called Capitoline, where you have a breathtaking view on the Roman Forum, the old city center. - Then we will drive to Venice Square passing by Victor Emanuel Monument, known as the "Wedding cake" for a photo stop and then will arrive at the Pantheon. - We will drive to the most famous fountain of Rome, Trevi. - A stop for lunch (not included in price) in a typical restaurant or free time for lunch on your own. - After lunch will pass the Spanish Steps on the drive to the Vatican Museum and visit the Vatican (closed on Sundays).
