Colosseum - Skip the line: Colosseum and Roman Forum private tour

My wife and I along with our two teenagers (15 and 17) took private tour of the Colosseum with Roberta. She was a fantastic guide with lots of interesting facts and overall context setting that went far beyond just the tour. She customized the whole experience for us - answering all questions large and small. The communication was great - we emailed ahead of the tour to coordinate and got a text message on status 10 minutes prior to the start. The whole experience was high end from start to finish.

In October 2020 our family was lucky enough to spend time in Rome and visit many of the historical sites. We appreciated how fortunate we were to be able to do this then, but now with the Covid-19 pandemic, we feel even more fortunate that we were able to do so given the current state of travel. During our visit we took several tours with Roberta who is a very experienced guide and explained the history of the various sites in a way that made it interesting for our young children. We were so lucky to have Roberta as our guide for the Colosseum and Forum. She is very knowledgeable, passionate of her hometown. Our only regret was we did not have more time to spend with her. We were lucky in that our group (4) was her only booking for that day. When we finished we invited her to lunch which she gratefully accepted and that was even better. Over all she is a wonderful person besides being great guide.

We were delighted with Roberta as our guide. She was friendly and flexible in adjusting schedules to suit us and, above all, she was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. We have wonderful memories of our time with her. Excellent value for money and highly recommended!
