This is a tour of the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. Dino had so many amazing stories about Ancient Rome. Our group consisted of 4 seniors all close to 70. He provided many stops and always found shade to talk on a very hot day. Dino is the best.
Dino was the most knowledgeable guide with such a great way of storytelling. We hired Dino after seeing an article he wrote in traveling leisure. We had two half days with him one for the Vatican and the second for ancient Rome. He truly made it a memorable experience for both my husband as it was our first time for Rome. I highly recommend you know if you want to see the sites and capture the stories in the history to which they deserve. He’s also a very nice person with excellent English and such a lovely accent his voice should be on a podcast.
The memories Dino left us with will last forever. The historical knowledge he has is simply amazing and his passion for the history of Rome made his tour unforgettable. Dino has excellent communication / interpersonal skills and was an absolute pleasure to be with for the four tour. He is extremely flexible and has a wonderful personality. I firmly believe a better tour of Ancient Rome / Colosseum does not exists. We had six people on the tour and each and everyone of us learned so much and were amazed at his skills. Dino was an amazing guide. His knowledge of Roman history was just incredible. He was easy to talk to and knew where all the best photo op stops are located. We took another tour with Dino yesterday and he even showed us a location that no other tourist were at even though the site was under a mall full of tourists. I highly suggest a tour with Dino. In fact, we plan to book Dino again when we come back in May.
Dino was an excellent guide and gave us one of the best tours we have ever had. He provided in-depth, relevant information that kept us engaged the entire time. A standout part of the tour was how he used his iPad and laminated pictures to show us exactly what the ruins looked like when they were fully constructed and in use. It made it so much easier to visualize and really brought Ancient Rome to life. Highly recommend!
Dino provided us with an awesome tour experience of the Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum. Dino is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the History of Rome and provided us with just the right amount of history and commentary. He guided us effortlessly throughout our tour and provided us guidance conquering cobblestones and steps. Dino pointed out great photo opportunities and gave us the time to take a few photos before moving on. He always made sure we had time to stop for water and bathroom breaks, which was greatly appreciated during the tour. Dino even spotted Augustus, the famous Colosseum cat taking his afternoon nap. We greatly appreciate our time spent with Dino and the memories we took home of our Colosseum tour.
