The Roman Colosseum is a must-see attraction in Rome: it's the ancient world largest most important amphitheatre, built to house the famous gladiatorial games. As big as modern stadiums, it was erected at the end of the first century to entertain the crowds of Rome, but after the fall of the empire was turned into a quarry. Today we can visit the ground floor, the terrible arena, where the gladiators fought, and the first level, where spectators would assist the game The tour will later continue to explore more relevant sites of ancient Rome, such as the Palatine, where the emperors built their palace, and the Forum, the political and social centre of the capital of the ancient world.

The availability of Arena tickets is limited, I will try to buy them in advance. -Contact me for a customized itinerary. -The itinerary could be on the reverse according to Colosseum time slot tickets. -Please bring a copy of your passport (hard copy or photo on your phone) tickets are nominal and you must show a copy of your documents. -Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair, the itinerary will be different.

-Walking Tour. -I suggest bringing a bottle of water and to wear comfortable shoes. -During the summer, be sure not to forget a hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses. -During the winter, be sure not to forget a raincoat or small umbrella. -Only small bags/backpacks (40x35x15) are permitted. -For security reasons, all visitors are to be screened with Metal Detectors. NOTE: during the Winter from November to February the latest time to start the tour is 1:00 PM.
