Hello and thank you for reading about me, Roberta! I was born and raised in Rome, I have dedicated many years of my life to art history and archaeology. Medieval walled cities tour with an Umbrian wine tasting.
Overview of your Rome tour
Our first stop of the day will be Civita Di Bagnoregio, they call it the dead city where only 16 citizen's live year round. The erosion makes the hillside location something unreal. The city is connected with the region from one long bridge that is the only working bridge for entering the city. Driving through the Umbrian hills we will arrive in the back gate of another legend town of Umbria called Orvieto. This town is renowned for it's medieval Duomo from the 10th century. It's here where we will experience the true Umbrian wines at Enoteca Al Duomo. You'll enjoy the famous fresh truffle pasta and the Orvieto classico wines. After lunch we will visit the Duomo with its breathtaking Last Judgment of Luca Signorelli XVI century. You will have time for shopping and some delicious gelato before Come see these beautiful towns in the Italian countryside with me!

- First stop: Civita di Bagnoregio - Next Stop: Lunch and Exploring the Midevil Umbrian Town of Orvieto. It's here that we will have time to enjoy the food, soak up the Tuscany / Umbrian sun and enjoy the best culinary art in Italy. Visiting both the inside of the Duomo and St. Patrick's well before departing for Rome.
