Hello and thank you for reading about me, Roberta! I was born and raised in Rome, I have dedicated many years of my life to art history and archaeology. I have taken a Degree at the PIAC, the Pontifical Institute of Christian Archaeology. I have worked as a tour leader for leading Italian and American tour operators in Rome. I love my Ancient City and wish to share it with you! My interests in the arts and history fields as a young child led me to start working as a professional tour guide, which I have been doing with great enthusiasm since 2009, when I obtained my licence. I also have a special licence for the Vatican City which allows me to cooperate with many groups and families. The tour of the Vatican was fantastic ... having the "inside" story really helped to bring to life what we were observing. Not only will I make sure to get you into the Vatican Museums hassle-free and without having to queue up, but you will also be entering one hour before the general public. The early start may be daunting at first but your effort will be fully rewarded when you get to admire the breath-taking Sistine Chapel much less crowded than usual - a truly unique experience. Your early morning Vatican tour will thereafter continue through the beautiful Papal Palaces. I have put together a perfect itinerary covering all the main highlights. Please remember to dress appropriately.

If you are visiting the Vatican in the hotter summer months, an applicable dress code for the Vatican would be a t-shirt and bermuda shorts that at least caste a shadow on your knees. As a sign of respect most visitors wear long-sleeve shirts and a pair of long pants.
If you book this tour on Sunday, we will visit St. Peter's Basilica and Castel S. Angelo instead of the Vatican Museums, which are closed on Sundays.
