My name is Bjorn and I was born and raised in Iceland, and I know my country well by experience. I am a Certified Guide and I have a passion for traveling and I use every chance I get to travel whether it's in Iceland or abroad. I'm a friendly and outgoing person and I love meeting and talking to people. I live in Reykjavik with my family and I've lived in the Reykjavik area my whole life, which I love but I take every chance I get to travel to the countryside and enjoy the nature with my camera in hand. I am an amateur photographer and I don't think I could be luckier with a country to live in since everywhere you look is a photo waiting to be taking. It's a photographer's paradise. Experiencing Iceland with a local guide truly is a great way to get the most out of your adventure. I drive an Audi Q7 e-tron which offers great comfort for up to 4 passengers or a Toyota Proace Verso that suits up to 7 passengers. Going with a professional driver who knows his country and conditions well is a good way to travel since weather conditions in Iceland in the winter time can be harsh and unpredictable. Iceland truly is an amazing and fascinating country with breathtaking scenery and untouched nature and I want you to enjoy it to the fullest and have a save and the most authentic experience as possible. During my university studies I did an exchange year in Vienna, Austria and there I made a lot of friends from all over the world. I've been lucky enough to have some of them visit me here in Iceland and it was then when I discovered my passion for introducing Iceland to visitors. It is a privilege for me to be an Iceland guide and it is very important to me to make your Iceland trip unique and unforgettable. I am flexible and I listen to your wishes and if you have any special interests or hobbies I will do anything I can to accommodate it and incorporate it to your tour. I look forward to welcoming and showing you Iceland! - Certified Guide. - Licensed Professional driver. - First aid course. - Fully licensed vehicle by the Icelandic Transport Authority. - Owner of Cool Travel Iceland, a Fully licensed DMC/Travel Agency by the Icelandic Tourist Board. - BSc Degree in Business from Bifrost University.

Bjorn was very accommodating to our wheelchair-bound guest to ensure all places visited in Reykjavik were accessible. He was very knowledgeable of the history and happenings of the city and was very personable. Would highly recommend Bjorn.

We loved our day with Bjorn! Having just landed in Iceland after a long flight, Bjorn was ready and waiting to introduce us to this beautiful city. He took us everywhere from the amazing lava fields to the historic church to the rainbow walk and everything in between. He told us stories of the history and future of the area and answered all of our questions with...

This was our second tour with Bjorn during our stay in Reykjavik. This was an exceptional tour, covering so much over the course of one day. We were able to visit multiple amazing and diverse destinations including the Gullfoss waterfall, Fridheimar Tomato Farm, Geysir, Thinvellir National Park and several other memorable sites. An unexpected aside, we learned about...

This was an exceptional tour in all regards. Arriving in Iceland at 6:00 a.m. after a seven and one half hour flight we wanted something to do before our early afternoon check in at our hotel. The beauty and unique landscapes of the Reykjanes Peninsula erased our travel fatigue. The geological history of this area is fascinating. We were able to visit multiple sites...
