This was a great tour, and Solrun was a wonderful guide! She customized the tour for us, picked us up at the cruise ship after our cruise, and delivered us to the airport after the Golden Circle tour right on schedule. She has a roomy, comfortable Ford Expedition that sits high (good visibility and plenty of room for luggage) , and she had it stocked with water for all and snacks for our granddaughter. But the best part is that she is so knowledgeable and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with her and cannot recommend her highly enough! If you are thinking of a Golden Circle tour, try to get Solrun! Actually, you should try to get her for any tour you are interested in!! She is fantastic!

Excellent tour with Sola. She is incredibly knowledgeable and very personable. We didn't have a lot of time in Iceland so we went where we could. We saw the amazing golden circle and now we can't wait to return to Iceland. Highly Recommend.

Sóla gave us a great tour from Reykjavik to three of the major sites in the Golden Circle. The weather was cold and wet at times for us, so be prepared. Gullfoss waterfalls are spectacular, even in the rain. The National Park of Thingervellir is an amazing view looking down from the cliffs. The Geysir hot spring area is interesting with its boiling pools and spouting geyser. It spouted several times as we made our way around the trail. Warm and friendly, Sóla grew up in the area and did a great job of clearly explaining the history and geology of the area. We had an ice cream stop at a dairy farm, and she gave us a driving tour of Reykjavik on our way back to the ship. We took a look inside the Hallgrimskirkja church. It was a wonderful tour.
