Golden Circle, a home of many natural wonders that Iceland has to offer, Shore Excursion

Kolbeinn provided a spectacular day for us! He was able to get a mini bus for our group of 4, making it a comfortable day driving the Golden Circle. He had great stories to tell and insights about each area we visited. He was funny and personable- we will always remember my sister saying you would think they’d have instruments for that after one of Kolbeinn’s descriptions! 😂 Visiting the tomato farm for delicious soup, boiling eggs in the hot springs, getting ice cream at a local farm, and visiting the must sees in the circle made for a fabulous day! I would highly recommend doing this tour with Kolbeinn- you won’t be disappointed!

The Golden Circle tour is (deservedly) the most popular day tour from Reykjavik. The sites are spectacular: Gullfoss, geysers, and the National Park, with the lake, waterfalls, rifts and historic sites. Kobe was a very engaging guide. We learned a lot about the sites, but also about life in Iceland, history, and current economic and governmental issue. It was a very interesting tour (and we got to cook eggs in a boiling hot springs!)

Our guide Heiðar filled in for him, and did a superb job! We saw all of the sights of the Golden Circle and enjoyed the day! We were able to get pictures from the perfect locations. We were in town for 2 days and He recommended that we go to Flyover Iceland and take in that as well. We did and we got to see the major sights from the air. Great experience with Heiðar and would recommend this tour!

We very much enjoyed our tour. All the sites were so beautiful and interesting. I especially liked Geysir and Kerid Crater. Our tour guide, Thomas, was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and very nice.

Our Golden Circle tour with Koby was very nice. Koby was very knowledgeable and informative about the sights we saw. He also answered any questions we had and gave us all the time we needed at each stop.

Kolbien was a friendly guide that customized our tour to our preferences. We 2 travelled in a large bus so had ample room. The only negative was he attended to stay in the bus and let us go to attraction. But all in all it was a good tour.
