Welcome to Alaska! My name is Kim, and I’m passionate about helping visitors experience Alaska in a way that is authentic, memorable, and deeply connected to the beauty of this incredible place. My own Alaska journey began with a question: Why am I here? Over time, Alaska answered through its wild landscapes, quiet strength, and endless opportunities for adventure and connection. Living here has given me a deep appreciation for this extraordinary state, from its breathtaking mountain views and abundant wildlife to the resilient communities and hidden gems many travelers never get to experience. My background in hospitality and guiding has given me the opportunity to share Alaska with people from all over the world. Working aboard the Alaska Railroad, I had the privilege of helping guests experience some of Alaska’s most iconic scenery while sharing insight into the landscapes, wildlife, and history that make this place so special. That experience taught me how to create engaging, informative, and welcoming experiences for travelers with a wide range of interests. In addition, as a doula and women’s retreat host, I’ve spent years guiding people through meaningful and transformative experiences with care, attentiveness, and thoughtful planning. Leading retreats has strengthened my ability to create personalized, well-organized experiences that help people feel comfortable, connected, and fully present in the moment. I especially love sharing the Anchorage, Eagle River, and Mat-Su Valley areas, where visitors can experience Alaska’s rich flora and fauna, scenic landscapes, local history, and lesser-known treasures beyond the typical tourist routes. I believe the best tours are the ones designed around what matters most to each traveler.
