Overview of your Anchorage tour
On this private tour (Customizable), I will pick up anywhere in Anchorage. We will begin the tour with a stop at Potter Marsh, an ideal break for birders and other wildlife viewers to take photos and get amazed by the unbelievable scenery. In this tour you will have the opportunity of making some stops at highway pullouts along Turnagain Arm for possible photos of Beluga Whales and Dahl sheep. We will continue to the Wildlife Conservation Center in Portage. See Buffalo, Caribou, Bears, etc. After the Wildlife Conservation Center we'll enjoy the scenery to the Summit Lake Lodge cafe for a short 10 minute break. We'll drive through Moose Pass on our way to Seward and have the option of hiking Exit Glacier which is a 1. 5 hour hike or driving around Seward to see some of the shops and sights. The hike at Exit Glacier is flat for the 1st half and then a moderate level incline to the glacier. Join me on this ultimate adventure. Reminder, this tour is customizable. I was a little apprehensive at first as this was my first time using Tours by Locals and I was traveling my with my elderly parents. However, my qualms were eased when Jason contacted me one week in advance to inquire about our luggage so he could prepare.
