I was born and raised in Alaska like my mother before me. I grew up traveling the state with my father as he worked on construction sites as an engineer. I have a B. A. in political science from the University of Alaska and there is little I don't know about Alaska history and culture. I am part Native-Alaskan (some people call them Eskimo) and know much about that part of my family tree. I am proud to be Alaskan and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the Great Land with visitors from all over the world. Quyana (thanks), Ryan B.A. in Political Science from University of Alaska, Anchorage My Ford transit van seats up to 11 passengers (driver not included). It also has room for luggage for those 11.

What you'll experience: Begin the day with a peaceful walk along the boardwalk at Potter Marsh, one of Anchorage’s best wildlife viewing areas. Depending on the season, you may spot salmon, migratory birds, moose, or even bears—all with the stunning Chugach Mountains as your backdrop. Next, we stop at Beluga Point overlooking Turnagain Arm. This area is famous for dramatic tides, mountain-to-ocean views, and the chance to see beluga whales during the right season. We then arrive in the charming mountain town of Girdwood, nestled between glaciers and rain-forest. Enjoy lunch in Girdwood at a local restaurant. Visit Virgin Falls, a beautiful natural waterfall surrounded by lush forest—an easy, refreshing stop and a guest favorite for photos Get up close (safely!) with Alaska’s iconic animals at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. This expansive sanctuary is home to bears, moose, bison, musk ox, elk, wolves, and more. It’s one of the best ways to see Alaska wildlife in a natural setting.
