I was born and raised in Alaska like my mother before me. I grew up traveling the state with my father as he worked on construction sites as an engineer. I have a B. A. in political science from the University of Alaska and there is little I don't know about Alaska history and culture. I am part Native-Alaskan (some people call them Eskimo) and know much about that part of my family tree. I am proud to be Alaskan and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the Great Land with visitors from all over the world. We had a very nice day with Ryan. Pick up on time, decent vehicle and lots of interesting stops on our trip from Anchorage to Seward. Ryan also helped with luggage and was very accommodating.

We were not expecting much from this Van tour as our main objective was to get to the ship as early as we could. But we really enjoyed the side trips to different places along the way. Ryan was very informative and really showed the beauty of Anchorage to Seward. He was like National Geographic in person :-) and my husband was his captive audience, since most of us were so tired from the flight the night before. He was very polite and patient with us while we took pictures.
