Gunnar was a great communicator and very accommodating guide for our private half day tour of Anchorage. We saw parts of Anchorage we never would have found on our own! It was a good way to fill our afternoon with two young grandchildren post hotel check out and pre airport departure home. Highly recommend.

Gunnar provided an outstanding private tour of Anchorage, and it was a fantastic way to experience the city and its wildlife. He picked us up promptly at our hotel, and from the moment we started, it was clear how knowledgeable and passionate he is about the area. As an aviation enthusiast, I especially appreciated the time we spent near the airport watching aircraft arrivals and departures. Gunnar explained the unique relationship between Anchorage’s main airport and the nearby seaplane base, which made that stop especially interesting. Although it had rained earlier that morning, the weather cleared just as our tour began, making for a beautiful afternoon to explore. Gunnar took us to several scenic locations in search of wildlife, including one of his favorite viewing areas where we were fortunate enough to spot a moose and capture some great photos. We also enjoyed short hikes through natural areas while looking for additional wildlife and learning about the local environment. As a fun bonus, during one of our hikes we even took a few minutes to locate a geocache, which added another memorable experience to an already outstanding tour. The tour was relaxed, informative, and tailored to our interests. Gunnar’s local knowledge, friendly personality, and enthusiasm made for a memorable experience. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a personalized introduction to Anchorage, its wildlife, and its natural beauty.

We really enjoyed our tour. Gunnar is a wonderful tour guide. He knows Anchorage and took us to many off the beaten path spots in our search for wildlife. We would definitely take this tour again the next time we're in Anchorage!

During our half day tour, Gunnar took us to various nature spots and other areas of local interest in and around Anchorage. Each area had its own unique beauty and opportunity to observe wildlife. Gunnar was very knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife. I appreciated his willingness to tailor the tour to our interests. He was very prompt in meeting us. He also sent us timely communications and reminders regarding the trip date and pickup times.

Gunnar was a wonderful tour guide and gave second mile service! His car was immaculate, his driving was relaxing, he was easy to talk to and a wealth of historical knowledge about Anchorage. We enjoyed looking for wildlife and seeing beautiful nature in the area. He gave us great suggestions for places to eat and other things to do. Highly recommend him and his Anchorage tour!
