Join me exploring the many natural wonders of Grand Teton National Park such as Jenny Lake, the Grand Teton, Teton Peaks, Mt Moran, the Snake River and Jackson Lake! While touring this National Park you will find many interesting sights that make up one of America's most majestic mountain ranges.

It's very well known for its Moose, Bear and Elk population. It truly is an ideal area for your best chance to see the many majestic animals that make the Jackson Hole area so popular.

With a customizable itinerary, we'll be able to focus on what you are most interested in. Teton National Park also has an abundance of history at Mormon Row, as well as numerous natural wonders like the Grand Teton and the many glaciers that line its peak, not to mention some of the best wildlife viewing in the world.

With this tour, you'll have your choice of sunrise or sunset, depending on weather you're an early riser or like to sleep in.

Come enjoy the sunrise or the sunset behind majestic mountains!

With trips designed and conducted as private tours, latitude to travel and include stops working with the preference of the group is normal. Expanding on our half day tour description, we will see much more of what the Park has to offer by slowing down in a less time-constricted manner, with greater opportunity for photography, simple viewing, or even sketching.

We will learn about the history of Menor's Ferry and Maude Noble's cabin, the birthplace of the Park. We may venture up Signal Mountain, drive out to Spalding Bay on the quiet side of Jackson Lake, or take in the shuttle ferry across Jenny Lake as well with ample time for a relaxed lunch lakeside, or engage in discussions of the historic, geology, ecology, and topography of the park and come to understand just how both the glacial and interglacial periods have shaped the park to afford the setting we find ourselves in, that of remarkably untouched nature!

1 day in Grand Teton National Park

Let's explore the entire Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. This tour can begin in Salt Lake City, West Yellowstone, Jackson, or Bozeman.
We will create a specific multi-day itinerary for your group.

All Day in Yellowstone Lower Loop Adventure

This day is jam-packed with travel, loads of background information, incredible visual experiences and surprises of all sorts, depending on circumstances, approx 9-11 hours, depending on weather and traffic.

With over 40 years of fly-fishing experience professionally and 50 years of extensive travel in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, I have covered enough ground in the past three seasons alone doing ecotours in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks to cross the United States 15 times.

We will cover the lower loop of the Yellowstone includes the Old Faithful geyser, Grand Prismatic hot spring, Excelsior geyser crater, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone waterfalls and additional geysers, hot pools, paint pots, and wildlife opportunities in route taking full advantage of timing and conditions along the way. As well as major points of interests that may include the Upper Geyser Basin area, Midway Geyser Basin area, Firehole Lake Loop, Lower Geyser Basin, and Firehole Canyon Drive.

Yellowstone Lower Loop Adventure - All Inclusive Full Day Tour

Yellowstone's Lower Loop is the Park's most popular excursion. With a morning pick-up to make the most of our day together, we'll enjoying the early morning sun shining on the Teton Mountains, as we travel through Grand Teton National Park, heading to Yellowstone. The Teton Mountains are among the world's most photographed majestic ranges.

On this tour, we'd circle the Lower Loop which encompasses several of Yellowstone National Park's most famous geothermal features such as the Grand Prismatic Spring, Old Faithful Geyser, Norris Geyser Basin & Volcano Mud Pots. The Lower Loop also includes natural wonders like Yellowstone Lake, the Upper and Lower waterfalls, and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.

It's worth noting we'd visit the Hayden Valley, home wildlife such as to elk, eagles, bighorn sheep, moose, wolf, mule deer as well as one of the largest herds of bison (buffalo) in the park.

Yellowstone's 2 day tour is my most extensive excursion, which includes an exploration of the park's Upper & Lower Loops. Spending 2 days in here really gives you the opportunity to explore Yellowstone National Park's most of the park, covering its famous geothermal & natural features as well as its wildlife.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to soak in this park with all its wonders. I can customize the tour to take advantage of your interests and help you become immersed in the Yellowstone experience. Spending time in the Lamar Valley and more remote areas of the park will allow for better opportunity to see more wildlife and off the beaten path sites.

With over 2. 2 million acres, 2 days is still not enough, but it's a great start to tour the park without feeling rushed.

You'd be in good company with me, considering I'm a rescue & Certified Guide that also holds a a First Aid and CPR Certificate, and even integrated the Board of America Outdoors Association.

Experience all of Yellowstone National Park in 2 separate days!

Majestic mountains form a backdrop while searching for bison, elk, moose, pronghorn, bear, and birds of prey. A few of the many areas we will visit may include Elk Flats to view wildlife in a classic prairie setting, famed Jenny Lake with its bucolic views of the lake and mountains, Willow Flats, Pilgrim Creek in search of grizzly, or Mormon Row to visit the historic barns with their iconic background. We will visit Jackson Lake Lodge with its breathtaking views, and perhaps take a short stroll along String Lake (you will see why).

Over the course of the day we will revisit the historic significance from the first European exploration by John Colter in 1807 and his interactions with the various native american cultures.

I am anxious to share with you how the the unique cultural and geologic history shaped the Grand Teton National Park. We will explore how the pristine Snake River headwaters play important role in the challenge of climate change today.

We have changed our policy this summer and can individualize the pick-up location if it is at an RV park or other locations outside of Jackson such as West Yellowstone or Colter Bay.

2-Day Yellowstone Lower Loop Tour - Stay in West Yellowstone

For some families' and travelers' a 12 hour tour from Jackson Hole to Yellowstone and back is a little longer day than they are looking for. This is the perfect solution for you.

We break it up into two 8 to 9 hour days and overnight in West Yellowstone, MT. With this relaxed schedule we can take more time exploring Grand Teton National Park and the lower loop of Yellowstone. Once in Yellowstone we will have all the time we want to explore the Geyser Basins, work in a light hike, and not have the pressure to make the Old Faithful eruption timing. Because we are staying in Montana. We will visit a few extra features too.

Day two, we will re-enter from West Yellowstone and complete the lower loop seeing some of the features that are more optimal in the morning light and temperature. After completing the lower loop we will explore new areas of Grand Teton Park on our way back to Jackson for the night.
