Having lived in Anchorage, Alaska, for some 45 years and being a small-business owner for decades, I have traveled worldwide extensively as well as throughout the state of Alaska. Was born and raised and lived for many years in both Norway and Sweden before moving to Alaska. Worked in the airline and travel industry for years and display a great joy and passion sharing information related to travel within the state, and possess patience and enthusiasm along with a good dose of positivity! I am easy to get along with, flexible, and will go out of my way to provide for an exceptional and personal learning experience for every tour customer, whom I treat as a personal guest. All of my tours can be customized upon request and always open to new adventures. I am a small business owner specializing in Alaska travel and outdoor activities, including guiding groups of individuals in wilderness settings, and have written or co-authored a half dozen books on specifics regarding the subject. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. Was employed as a teacher at the University of Alaska for 14 years as well. None

This is the perfect tour for those with open minds and not faint of heart, wanting to discover the "dark" side of our great state. While most visitors are familiar with the typical attractions of mountains, glaciers, and wildlife found here, much less tribute is paid to the plethora of mind-boggling stories, unexplained occurrences, historical events, and downright frightening encounters of the strange kind Alaska harbors. Presented are discussions--both serious and light hearted--on a wide and varied segment of topics, such as the ominous forest people, "Hairy Man" (Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Yeti), ghostly and bizarre apparitions, massive squid attacks, biblical scale tsunamis, shoplifting moose, "Berserker" grizzly bears, the "Great Alaska Pyramid," cryptic flying reptiles and Thunder Birds, deadly sinking mudflats, recent mammoth sightings, a prolific mass murderer, strange people and aircraft disappearances, and incursions of UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena/UFO) into and over the state's airspace.
Note: The tour is subject to accommodating your personal interest and schedule and can be altered or changed upon request. Flexibility is the key! * Pick-up at site of your choice (hotel, airport, dock, etc. ) * Tour will begin in the city of Anchorage and span through Turnagain Arm to the port city of Whittier and back * There will be frequent stops at specific locations of significance for narration and witnessing * All accounts will be shared respectfully from an analytical, neutral, and rooted perspective, NOT through sensationalism * Opportunities to see mountain ranges, glaciers, tidewaters, and wildlife throughout course of travel * Drop-off at site of your choice (hotel, airport, dock, etc. )
