Hi, my name is Cayetano. I am a licensed guide from Barcelona, born and raised here. I have been working in the hospitality and tourism for almost 27 years, mainly in hotels and tour companies in Spain, South East Asia and the United States. We will walk and discover Gaudi's personality and his key buildings. We will also talk about the bustling Barcelona of the turn of the century and the patrons who hired Gaudi and the other Art Nouveau architects for the construction of those spectacular Palaces and apartment buildings. This is one of my favorite tours in Barcelona and a great way to experience how the local bourgeoisie lived in one of the most exciting periods in the history of Barcelona: the years of the Industrial Revolution and the construction of the "Eixample" district or New Barcelona.
Cayetano was amazing. He knows so much about Gaudi and he made the information so interesting. I could learn from him all day! He also took our travel fears (first time in Barcelona) into account and made it all so easy for us. We highly recommend him!
We used Cayetano V. for two separate tours (Gaudi's Barcelona Half Day and Roman and Medieval Barcelona Half Day Tour) while we stayed in Barcelona. He was an amazing tour guide!! He was professional and really tailored our tours to our interests. He also gave us recommendations on places to go and eat after our tours that were fantastic. We would highly recommend him.

Our tour with Cayetano was simply amazing! The history lesson we received that day was so incredibly interesting & informative & the sights were incredible! We got to see Gaudi’s Mila house & Batllo house in which the architecture was well beyond its time…so very interesting & intriguing! We went on to tour The Park Guell which was just as interesting. The architecture, grounds, views, art work & story behind it simply amazing! We ended at the Sagrada Família Basilica. Cayetano had pre purchased our tickets far in advance so that we were sure to get in & to the front of the line, no wait. You cannot fathom the craftsmanship, beauty & history of this historical sight…breathtaking! Throughout the entire tour Cayetano gave us so much history of the many sights we saw, he is a plethora of information & knowledge a lot of which I feel is not readily known. Cayetano was fantastic! He provided such a great overview of Barcelona, its history, and brought it to life through architecture with a focus on Gaudi. His tour of the Sagrada Família was a standout of the day, as Cayetano pointed out so many details we would’ve missed on our own. This was a day well spent and I’d highly recommend Cayetano! Cayetano V was an excellent tour guide. He was interested in providing us with an exceptional experience through his knowledge and sensitivity to weather conditions (heat!) and we found he made us aware of the small details one probably wouldn't get in a big tour group or general tour. Our small group found him engaging, entertaining, professional and personable. Five star rating and highly recommended. When we are in Barcelona next time, we won't hesitate to re-book him!
-Passeig de Gràcia, Milà House aka La Pedrera), Batlló House and the block of the Discord buildings (outside). -Park Güell. (inside). -Sagrada Familia Basilica (inside). -We will walk along Passeig the Gracia to see the two most spectacular apartment buildings built by Gaudí: Milà House and Batlló House -We will see other spectacular buildings built by the architects Domenech I Montaner and Puig I Cadafalch and Enric Sagnier. -We will walk or use public transportation to Park Güell, a spectacular Park that was not projected as a Park -We will spend around 1 hour here. -Then We will take a taxi to Sagrada Familia, the unfinished church that Gaudí started building in 1882, We will spend around 1hour and 30 minutes. -We can finish the tour inside Sagrada Familia so you can spend as long as you wish by yourself after the tour finishes.
