On this private four-hour journey, enjoy Lombo da Quinta and Pico do Arieiro, with a picnic stop before descending to Ribeiro Frio for a walk towards Balcões. Continue through the farming areas towards Faial as I explain our crops, local products and everyday island life. Visit a rum distillery, then admire the views from Pico do Facho before returning to Funchal. Expect friendly conversation, photo stops and a personal introduction to Madeira. A comfortable minibus or 4x4 jeep can be requested, subject to confirmation. Picnic and tasting arrangements are confirmed before booking.
