Overview of your Mexico City tour

My favorite museum in the world! This anthropology museum keeps the most important collection of the ancient prehispanic cultures and the most important one is the Aztec or Mexica culture. We will visit this hall and the mayan and teotihuacan halls. If time allows we will take time to relax while we walk together through the Chapultepec Park, first settlement of the aztecs. A delightful time is assured. And finally a short visit to the Castle at the top of "El cerro del chapulin" (Hill of grasshoppers). I will make sure that you learn the ins and outs of this Kamaleonic place.

I really enjoyed my tour of the anthropology museum with Jacqueline. She is incredibly knowledgeable about Mexican history and Mexico’s pre-Columbian heritage. I also enjoyed the walk in Chapultepec Park and the tour of the Chapultepec Castle. I was very happy to get a chance to learn more about Mexico’s fascinating history, but could have used several more hours to visit the museum and park since there is so much to see and do at both locations!

Our party highly recommends Jacqueline as your guide to the Mexico City Anthropology Museum. Jacqueline arrived on time at our hotel with a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle (she will size it to your group number), and the tour duration was exactly as stated. She possess considerable knowledge of the exhibits and cultures represented in the museum. If you wish to dive into detail, Jacqueline can satisfy you, if you want medium or higher level coverage, she will do that as well. Her delivery is easy to understand, entertaining and very informative. The entire group urges you to choose Jacqueline to you when you are selecting your guide!

Jacqueline's knowledge and passion for Mexican history and archeology was outstanding. Our visit to the Anthropology Museum was very illuminating in that she gave us an overview of the culture and history that was coherent and as well as interesting. On our walk thru Chapultepec Park she was very accommodating to our comfort and made arrangements for us to use the elevator to get to the castle (rather than have to make the hilly climb). Again, she was knowledgeable and informative thru out and helped us understand much more about Mexico.

Jacqueline made us feel right at home in Mexico City. A must do if visiting for the first time or if you’ve never been to the museum, park or castle. A historical primer of the city, country and mesoamerica. A 10/10 !

My husband and I had a lovely tour of the Anthropology Museum, Chapultepec Castle, and Chapultepec Park with Jackie. She arrived on time, spoke good English, and was knowledgeable and friendly. She accommodated some requests of ours willingly and never rushed us through the tour. When my husband asked a few questions she didn’t know the answer to, rather than make up an answer, she said she didn’t know - we appreciated her honesty. We visited during the New Year holiday and it was very helpful to have a native speaker to navigate the crowds, buy tickets, etc. Most of the signage in the Anthropology Museum is in Spanish (and there are no audio tours, either) so unless you have downloaded the Google Translate app or have a guide, you aren’t going to get much out of the museum experience.
