Hi! I’m Juan, a certified tour guide with Mexico’s Ministry of Tourism and a graduate in English Teaching from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). I was born and raised in Mexico City, and I’ve spent my whole life in this lively, fascinating place. After several years as an English teacher, I met a student who had been a tour guide for many years. He saw my passion for Mexican history and suggested I try guiding tours—and he was right! Not long after earning my certification, I realized that guiding had become my true calling. I love sharing Mexico through my eyes, helping visitors return home with unforgettable memories, and, of course, fantastic photos (I also enjoy photography and know the best spots for great shots!). My goal is for you to enjoy Mexico City safely, at your own pace, with a trip tailored to your interests. Feel free to reach out so we can customize your experience in CDMX whether before you arrive or even during your stay. I look forward to showing you the best of what this incredible city has to offer. Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! - Certified tour guide by the Ministry of Tourism in Mexico (SECTUR) - Degree in English Teaching from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) For groups of more than 4 people (or those who prefer extra comfort), I can arrange a spacious Toyota Sienna or similar vehicle with a professional driver, available for an additional fee.

Get ready to leave Mexico City early in the morning to explore one of the biggest Caves in the world and a charming colonial town surrounded by big green mountains. Inside The Caverns of Cacahuamilpa, you will see some of the most impressive stalagmites and stalactites formations in the world in a safe and unique environment. The place is now designed in a friendly way so that visitors can explore the area safely and without getting lost. After an exciting walk inside the Caverns, we will head to the mining town of Taxco de Alarcon (just 30 minutes away) to walk around its colonial streets, admire the fantastic Santa Prisca church, have a traditional pozole for lunch and learn about its famous silver workshops and stores. Each corner here is full of history and stories waiting to be told.
• Hotel pick up • Cacahuamilpa Caverns (we will learn about the stalagmites and stalactites inside the cavern and have fun finding different shapes on the rocks) • Lunch break in Taxco (I will suggest some places depending on your interests, however, pozole is something special here!) • Santa Prisca Church (Baroque church in the center of Taxco and the most impressive temple by far) • Casa Borda (a colonial house where the wealthy Jose de la Borda lived • Viceroyalty Museum or Casa de las Lágrimas • Silver workshops • Return to hotel in CDMX

Travel comfortably in a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SUV with air conditioning. While the vehicle provides a roomy interior and accommodates three guests in the second row, a more spacious one can be arranged upon request at an additional cost.
