Discover Tokyo - Walking Tour (5 hours)

My husband and I were so lucky to have booked a Tokyo tour with Toshiko. She really took the time to develop a customized itinerary for us. She met us at our hotel in the morning which was also quite helpful as the Tokyo subway can be a little overwhelming on day 1. She was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and the sites we visited. She also provided us with so many helpful tips and outlined additional architectural sites to view. Toshiko made our first day so special and memorable!

Everything from the start worked well, communication was excellent, very easy to set up what we wanted, Toshiko provided additional information and was very easy to deal with. She was a great guide, helpful, understanding, knowledgeable and keen to show us her local perspective of Tokyo. We had an excellent day, did what we expected, learnt a lot and came away a little tired but very happy. If you are looking for a local guide, then she is great, we highly recommend her.

Toshiko is an excellent tour guide. She was kind, efficient and accommodating of our needs. She capably took all 4 of us around in the Tokyo subway system and showed us the sites chosen with care. I am an elderly person who walked slowly and she was very good at pacing her walk based on my needs. I strongly recommend Toshiko for anyone who wants see Tokyo comfortably at your own pace.

Lovely Toshiko picked us up promptly for our whirlwind discovery of Tokyo on the only day we had in the city. She brought visual aids to explain historical periods, stories, and important locations. We had a great conversation on the metro to better understand language. She expertly navigated us through the crowds while still allowing us time to enjoy some of the vendors that attracted our attention. We enjoyed our time with Toshiko and recommend her to others.

Toshiko provided a wonderful and relaxed day touring Tokyo. She provided us with history, context photos and customs further enhancing our experience. Not to mention teaching us to use the subway.
