Guide #32964
Hi! I am Toshiko. Welcome and thank you for visiting my page! I'm a tour guide in Tokyo. I like meeting people and showing them around Tokyo. When I went to university in Japan, I got a scholarship to study abroad for a year at an American college. After graduating from a Japanese university, I worked for a company that deals with study-abroad programs and had many opportunities to go abroad to take care of students. It was a fun experience to go abroad and meet new people. I came to think that I want to learn more about Japan because when I was abroad, I sometimes had trouble answering questions about Japan. These questions were things that were so obvious to me that I never thought about them. However, I have come to realize that such questions are actually what people overseas want to know. With this in mind, I have been reviewing Japan and guiding many people from overseas. I would like to share my experience and knowledge with you. I would like to make your trip very special and memorable. I would be honored to be part of your trip. I look forward to meeting you. *Pick-up and drop-off at cruise ship ports and airports are not available. -National Guide Certificate (English) -license#EN04661 -Trained by, and a member of the Japan Federation of Certified Guides (JFG) -Teacher's certificate of English -Passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test

October 2026Thank you very much for your wonderful comment. It was a real pleasure spending time with you. Thank you also for downloading a Japanese taxi app and arranging a minivan big enough for all of you. It was a comfortable ride.

We had an amazing tour with Toshiko. Our flight was delayed by a day but Toshiko was able to accommodate the change in schedule. Our tour included a wide range of sites, information and activities. Toshiko booked lunch at a top floor restaurant that we never would have known about, it was an amazing view and meal. Our tour included everything from gardens to subway to...

My family really appreciated a tour of several neighborhoods in Tokyo (Asakusa, Shibuya, gardens). Toshiko was an excellent tour guide. We enjoyed the history perspective and the efficiency of the tour. In a half day, we did what would have taken us over a day to do on our own plus felt like we really understood the sites we visited. It was a great way to start our...
