We spent two days with Paulo and it was such a pleasure. Paulo is so incredibly knowledgeable and tells history as stories, full of life, interest, and intrigue. Our visits to Óbidos, Alcobaça, Batalha, Tomar, and Fatima were so much more than they would have been without Paulo. The details he pointed out and background made all the difference. It was great touring the Algarve for two days with Paulo. He is a very knowledgeable, interesting, and considerate guide. He has a deep understanding of the history of Portugal, and shares it in a way to give meaning to the tour. He happily adjusted the timing of our outings to suit our schedule.
