I’m lucky to call Sintra Cascais Natural Park my home, and I’m excited to share the hidden gems, fascinating stories, and rich history of this remarkable region with you. Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-see when visiting Lisbon. From the mountains to the sea, takes you through the breathtaking landscapes and history of the region. We begin with the stunning Pena Palace Terraces, where you'll enjoy panoramic views from 500 meters above sea level. After soaking in the sights, we’ll explore the historic center of Sintra, home to the Royal Palace and view to the Moorish Castle. Along the way, we’ll pass by enchanted aristocrat’s farmhouses, each adding to Sintra's unique charm. A delicious lunch with ocean views follows before we visit Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. Finally, we’ll head to Cascais, a picturesque town on the Portuguese Riviera, famous for its beaches and historic beauty.
Your Lisbon tour itinerary
• With the pick up at Lisbon region we will drive 40 minutes to Sintra. • The first stop is Pena Palace, where we will have time to visit part of the gardens and terraces. • Second stop at the historic center of Sintra where the Royal Palace is located. Time for a stroll through the alleys. •Drive through Sintra Cascais Natural Park for the third stop of the day at a coastal town for lunch break by the Ocean. •We continue our journey to the edge of Continental Europe, Cabo da Roca, to admire the landscape •Final stop, a brief visit to Cascais, the Portuguese Riviera, on the way back to Lisbon along the coastal road. •Please note that the route may be reversed to avoid traffic during the high season or if the weather forecasts so require. •Tour can be customized to your wishes. •If transporting luggage I can’t guide you in monuments. Will stay by yhe car at all times.
