Lisbon & Belem Tour 3h | Avoid Lines

We had a great intro tour to Lisbon & surrounding area from Goncalo. We stayed in Lisbon and surrounding area for 4 days, but first wanted an overview tour which we received from Goncalo. He took us to many of the key districts in the city including the Alfama district which we stayed in for four nights. He gave us great information along the many key stops we made: Old Lisbon Viewpoint, Belem Tower, Monument of the Explorers, Jeronimos Monastery and more. Great photo ops. At Belem Pastry we got to go into the kitchen area for a behind the scene look at how these famous pastries are made. Then having great samples of these delicious Lisbon treats. NO lines, just special access with no waiting for this special visit. Goncalo gave us a wonderful tour and ideas for other things we might want to do in our additional time in Lisbon. We had such a wonderful time exploring Lisbon with Gonzo! From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he made us feel so welcome and comfortable. He showed us the city’s beautiful landmarks, shared interesting stories along the way, and made the whole experience feel fun, relaxed, and personal. Gonzo is incredibly friendly, warm, and easy to spend time with — it honestly felt more like exploring Lisbon with a local friend than being on a tour. We really enjoyed every moment and couldn’t have asked for a better way to discover the city. Thank you, Gonzo, for making our time in Lisbon so special! Had a terrific introduction to Lisbon with on our private tour with Gonçalo. He was very professional and 100% responsive to our interests, crafting an itinerary that included all those points. He is deeply knowledgeable and well-versed in the history of Lisbon and an excellent storyteller. We learned a lot in our 3 hours together. He’s also a genuinely personable and interesting individual, and knows people everywhere, which made everything very accessible. We did our initial tour by car, followed by a second walking tour later in the week, both superb!

Wow, what an incredible adventure in Lisbon. We covered sooo much of Lisbon and Goncalo is a wonderful guide, with a wealth of knowledge, humor and history about Portugal and the Lisbon area. This was definitely the way to see the very best of Lisbon for time we had available

Gonzo was a great host. We learned a lot about the history of Lisbon and Portugal. He gave recommendations for restaurants which were spot on. He’s an excellent driver to navigate the city (we found out he’s an EMS/firefighter so must be used to the streets!). A very enjoyable tour.

Goncalo was awesome! Very friendly & knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
