Historical Lisbon Tour in a Tuk-Tuk

I rode with Pedro in his tuk tuk for the day and had an amazing time. He was super knowledgeable of the city of Lisbon and Portugal. We parked the tuk tuk and walked the Ifama neighborhood and that was a highlight for me. Pedro explained the neighborhood and the birthplace of Fado music. We visited the Pasteis de Belem bakery that makes the famous pastel de Belem and he took me to the actual bakery and we had a personal demonstration!! It was a beautiful day in Lisbon thanks to Pedro.

Pedro was an amazing tour guide who made everything so easy and fun for us. His tuk tuk was very comfortable, and he was able to park it into the smallest spaces to get us very close to sites. He was flexible and covered all of the sites I requested via message before the tour. Pedro was extremely knowledgeable about all things Portugal and Lisbon. He also helped us find high quality souvenir shops to avoid the tourist trap junk shops. I have used ToursByLocals around the world, and Pedro was as good as anyone we have had before, and I highly recommend him.

Pedro met us at the port with Tuktuk and took us throughout the city sharing highlights. We had opportunity to stop and purchase the amazing Portuguese tart. It was wonderful with the hint of cinnamon that is enjoyed by the locals. The tuktuk and cobble roads make it a little bumpy. Overall we got to see lots of areas and stopped often for taking pictures.

Pedro was great !! It was perfect in every way. We really felt we saw so much more of this beautiful city and the TUK TUK was super fun. I highly recommend this tour and Pedro! I wish I had booked Sintra tour with him too!

Fabulous, customized tour. Pedro was charming, informative, flexible and spoke perfect English. Pre tour he kept in contact with us, so there would be no mishaps. He showed us so much of the city and we even got out and walked some of the old city. Of course, we also had to stop at Pastéis De Belém for pastry. He even showed us the correct way to eat them. When my wife mentioned she was looking for some handmade tiles, he brought us to a little place where the owner does restorations to the old tiles around the city. She showed us the method she used, and we found exactly what we were looking for. She was also wearing a Cape Verde soccer shirt and was very excited for that afternoon's match. We highly recommend using Pedro if you want an informative and fun day. Five stars just doesn't seem enough.
