Full Day Tour in Sintra with a local.

Rafael was great. Took us to some out of the way places and was very knowledgeable.

Our family of five had an amazing day trip from Lisbon where we toured Sintra and Cabo da Roca. Rafael was outstanding from start to finish. Being a Sintra local, he shared fascinating history, stories, and insights that brought each stop to life in a way we never would have experienced on our own. One of the highlights of the day was lunch at a local restaurant far removed from the touristy area that we never would have found ourselves. The food was incredible, the prices were very reasonable, and it ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip. Rafael was knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, and made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free. If you’re looking for an authentic experience with someone who truly knows and loves the area, we couldn’t recommend him more.

We really enjoyed our day with Rafael. It turned out the day we booked with him was also the day there was a 10 K run through Sintra. I had booked months in advance. Well before the race was scheduled . Our schedule would not have permitted us to change the date if we wanted to.. We didn’t get to see as much of Sentra as we planned due to streets being closed but Rafael did the best he could to show us what was available in the town. He more than made up for it though by taking us to spots only locals know about. We saw spectacular views along the coast and enjoyed a great meal of traditional food in a small village restaurant. We enjoyed the day and Rafael was a knowledgable , friendly, kind guide. He went out of his way to see we had a great day.

We really enjoyed our day with Rafael. We feel we got a good sense for the main Sintra attractions as well as the surrounding area. We appreciated his advice to focus on one of the key Sintra momuments and we picked Quinta Da Regaleira upon his recommendation. This was a very unique experience and Rafael provided great insights for what we were seeing. We also enjoyed a great lunch with Rafael at a local restaurant outside of the main Sintra tourist area. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Rafael is a fantastic guide! We covered a lot of ground and he's extremely knowledgeable, engaging and kept things enjoyable throughout. Easy 5 stars.
