Hello I'm Rafael, I'm a local guide committed to take out of the beaten track, showing you the genuine side of my country I've been working as a guide for quite a while now, but I have done a bit of everything along my life. I have a curious and adventurous nature that makes me want to discover more and better things. Overview of your Lisbon tour

Sintra is a well-known tourist city, famous for its spectacular romantic palaces, wild nature, and beautiful coastline. a place covered with mystery that takes us into a fairy tale world. As a local who has lived here all of his life, I know exactly the best places and views Sintra has to offer. Such places include the Amazing Natural Park with its copious forests and one of the most beautiful and wild coastlines in Portugal, with breathtaking viewpoints and typical picturesque villages, full of authenticity, resembling the old days and ways, almost as if we had stopped in time. My tour is more focused on those unexplored and magical parts of Sintra without missing the main attractions What I want to share with you is what it was like growing up in the region what life is like here for the locals nowadays and my view on how life will be here in the future, all of this while taking you to my favorite places, sharing a local vision.

Our first time in Lisbon (and Portugal), we had one full free day before our tour started. We were interested in experiencing local sites that would not be on our tour and Rafael delivered for us! We visited Sintra, enjoyed local pastries and a walk through a beautiful natural botanical park to Monserrate Palace. Then a delicious lunch at local family-owned restaurant followed by spectacular beaches and coastal views of ocean cliffs including a view of Cabo da Roca. Rafael was very knowledgeable about the history, and we enjoyed this memorable day!

Our family of five had an amazing day trip from Lisbon where we toured Sintra and Cabo da Roca. Rafael was outstanding from start to finish. Being a Sintra local, he shared fascinating history, stories, and insights that brought each stop to life in a way we never would have experienced on our own. One of the highlights of the day was lunch at a local restaurant far removed from the touristy area that we never would have found ourselves. The food was incredible, the prices were very reasonable, and it ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip. Rafael was knowledgeable, incredibly friendly, and made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free. If you’re looking for an authentic experience with someone who truly knows and loves the area, we couldn’t recommend him more.

Your Lisbon tour itinerary

Pick up at requested hotel/apartment/cruise. In Lisbon Sintra and Cascais. Arriving in Sintra you can choose one or two of the following monuments Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira, Monserrate Parque, and Palace. I will accompany you to all sites, at any point, upon your request, I can leave you to explore on your own. Stop for lunch. Exploring Penedo and Colares, the typical picturesque Portuguese villages that look as if we had stopped in time. Cost line circuit, showing you my favorite places. the mandatory highlight is Cabo da Roca and, Adraga Beach, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. In the Natural Park, I chose for you the best-hidden sights where you can take great delight in the most spectacular views over the region. Drop off at the starting point or another place that is convenient.
