Day trip in Sintra, Cascais and Cape of Roca

Sintra has been the "air conditioning" of Lisbon since the 14th century thanks to its micro-climate and excellent condition for hunting. Lord Byron said it was his glorious Eden. So, I invite you to visit Pena Palace, which is a real fairy tale and unique hilltop view. Or if you prefer we can visit the medieval National Palace of Sintra or the stunning Park of Quinta da Regaleira. Carry on to the breathtaking Cabo da Roca, the western most point of continental Europe, where "the earth finishes and the sea starts" as our poet Camões would say. We must see the beautiful beaches along the coast where surf, windsurf and kite-surf are held and stop at Cascais, the kings and queens beaches since the 19th century. As we return to Lisbon we must see the mouth of Tagus River, the longest in Iberian Peninsula. During our day we'll stop for lunch and if you want to do as locals try our fresh fish or seafood.
