Lisbon is the city of the seven hills! The best way to really know it? By doing a walking tour! Our tour starts at the marvellous S. Pedro point of view. Then we will explore the historic quarters of Bairro Alto and Chiado, going then to the downtown area, Baixa, where we will do the tasting of a custard tart. Our tour continues towards Alfama quarter where the Fado has it's heart and where Christians, Muslims and Jews left their legacy. Finally we will get to Praça do Comércio, the monumental entrance to the city.
Sara is a wonderful guide who explained the nature of the neighborhoods and the long history of Lisbon as we walked down and up and down the city’s hills. Her style is conversational, not rote, and friendly. BTW she possesses perfect English. I highly recommend Sara’s tours
