Lisbon is the city of the seven hills! The best way to really know it? By doing a walking tour! Our tour starts at the marvellous S. Pedro point of view. Then we will explore the historic quarters of Bairro Alto and Chiado, going then to the downtown area, Baixa, where we will do the tasting of a custard tart. Our tour continues towards Alfama quarter where the Fado has it's heart and where Christians, Muslims and Jews left their legacy. Finally we will get to Praça do Comércio, the monumental entrance to the city.
Sara was not only extremely knowledgeable, but had a wonderful, friendly, and entertaining personality. She was kind and patient with me as an elderly gentleman, making stops along the way where I could sit for a few moments while she continued to talk about her hometown. Sara is an exceptional to a guide. I have traveled to many parts of the world and I must say she is one of the best tour guide I have met. S he did a fantastic job showing me around Lisbon.
