" Discover on this 8-hour sightseeing tour around its paradisiacal streets and gardens. We will feel the magic and mystery that emanates from all the palaces, villas and estates throughout the landscape. Let's visit the Pena National Palace terraces to discover an exotic and eclectic profusion of styles in accordance with the tastes of Romanticism. We will have the services of an expert guide, me! I will explain the history of how Sintra came to be, while we wander around romantic and mysterious locations, such as the Quinta da Regaleira and the palaces of Seteais and Monserrate. We will also go to Cabo da Roca (Cape Roca), the most western point of mainland Europe, to visit Guincho Beach, as well as drive along the Cascais Coast and wander around this village.

We had a wonderful day with Diana. She was extremely mindful of Richard's limitations due to Parkinson's. We really wanted to see a Palace and she took us to the fun and flat Palace Quelez. We bought great souvenirs in Sintra village. Lunch with a view of the Atlantic was also gracious & delicious. We enjoyed the coastal drive.too . We love learning about art, architecture , plants and history. Diana shared plenty of information all day and kept us happy! We would definitely recommend Diana.

We loved Diana. She was very astute about what was going on locally, so knew to pivot to go to Cascais first because of a race in Sintra. She was one of our favorite tour guides in Portugal. Knowledgeable, authentic, good driver, funny. With her it was definitely worth it to go outside of Lisbon to see these two areas. We did not go in Pena Palace, but did not need to, plenty to see with the tickets she got us (thank you!) which included the bus ride up. You can tell everyone knows and likes her because she is kind. We would 100% recommend booking anything with her.

Diana was very engaging and knew so much about her home town. She took us to not just see the landmarks but give us first hand information about the buildings and people. She made sure we felt like we lived in Sintra. Went out of her way to show us what the locals knew that is not included in any guide book! I got sick and she did a run through everything that was a must see with the people in our party then got me back the best way possible to our hotel.
