Hi, my name is Hermes, a private guide based in Lisbon with a background in corporate events. I was born in Cascais, a coastal town west of Lisbon known for its multicultural environment. During my teenage years, I had the opportunity to travel across the country, experiencing different Portuguese traditions and visiting most of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in Portugal. After 20 years of professional experience in corporate events, in 2014 I decided to embrace a new professional project: welcoming and introducing Portuguese culture to those who visit us. Overview of your Lisbon tour
Sintra is a beautiful village full of history, with an unique natural park and views over the ocean. A wonderful place where the old continent ends and the new world begins. Cascais, once a fishing village, later a resort for European royalty, it is now considered the Portuguese Riviera. Sintra, historic village, it is known for the palaces and the Moorish castle, land of royalty, fairy tales, mystical places and parks with trees from all continents. On our day trip we will also see small towns over the cliffs and the westernmost point in European continent. Cascais, a waterfront village, with several beaches, where you can walk through the same places that European royalty walked and feel the ocean breeze.
