Tour guide in Amsterdam Louke S.

Hi, my name is Louke and I am a passionate private tour guide, radio host, and crafts teacher in Amsterdam. I have strolled around with guests for over 350 tours in my favorite city. I have had a whole pandemic to be as creative as I want to be and create podcasts, blogs, TikTok, and perfected my nail tech skills. I walk in any kind of weather but I can tell you all about it over a hot cup of coffee to wait out the rain if we choose to. I made sure that I knew a lot about the history and the cultures that live in Amsterdam. I can tell you about daily life, and the mentality of Amsterdammers but I am willing to take you to The Hague or Utrecht and tell you about life and history there too. I have accompanied guests to visit museums and take canal rides on many boat tours. I'm great with young kids on family trips and I know the best places to eat. It's pretty much like meeting up with a friend who knows her way around while you get to see all you want to see while you are in the Netherlands. I do predefined tours if you choose them but I am always up for customizing to your wishes so you will get to experience the best bits of your bucket list. Fully equipped with a guide permit and aware of the latest rules to offset the overgrown tourism in Amsterdam city center. I live in the oldest part of town and am very involved in activities for and with locals; I don't enjoy crowds. I also teach life lessons through creative workshops at schools all over the city and online. While strolling along with people on their hard-earned vacations, I have a true passion for European history and storytelling. As an artist, I have a creative way of looking at the world, and that adds to the fun of all my tours.
