I grew up in Munich and its wonderful suburbs and live now for more than 30 years with my husband and our two daughters in the pulsing heart of the city - the Gärtnerplatz. It is a meeting and melting point where you can daily experience the modern spirit of Munich. Even as a child I was always fascinated by history, art and of course by travelling. That's why I studied art history, anthropology and archeology in Munich. As a student I travelled around the word, visiting historical highlights and meeting so many friendly local people. They showed me their countries and allowed me to participate. Thereafter I started working as a tour guide for Studiosus - the biggest study trip company in Europe. I am specialized in the Benelux-States and the Southern States. In the same time I started as a tour guide in Munich to give back some of the wonderful experiences I made on my trips. Munich is a wonderful, adorable and cute city with many hidden places to discover. Let me show you either the landmarks of the City - like Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt, Residenz or Frauenkirche as well look with me behind the curtain to experience the secrets of Munich - off the track. The Bavarian lifestyle, the food, the beer and the heritage are indescribable - its worth to encounter our habits, try our food and beer and discover our folklore. Susanna gave an excellent tour in English of the Old Paintings museum. Her love of the artistry is evident in her passion and detail. At the start, We loved that she set the scene of the 1400s-1600s and the museum layout. This helped us appreciate the works during the tour and after. She provided many little details of interest.

Susanna certainly knows her Munich food and is proud of it. A small tour of the old town was a great way to work up an appetite. She took us to the local outdoor market where she bought all sorts of food- bread, cheese, sausages, pickles which we ate with good Munich beer. Perfect way to start our Munich adventures

Susanna's encyclopaedic knowledge of virtually every painting in the Alte Pinakothek was astounding, and made our tour with her enjoyable as well as illuminative. Whether a Turner, a Van Gogh, Rembrandt or Tintoretto - she knew them all, and with such precision and detail which could only come from years of extensive study of art history.
