You’ll discover the life of the “dreamer king,” his passions, and inspirations, while legendary heroes like Lohengrin, Tannhäuser, and Parsifal seem to come alive amid the Alpine scenery. There is a 99.9% chance we will secure entry, even when tickets are sold out. We will also admire Hohenschwangau Castle, built by Ludwig’s father on the ruins of an ancient fortress. From the outside, you’ll learn about the king’s childhood and youth. In the charming town of Füssen, with its narrow streets and rich history, you’ll stroll through medieval quarters, hear fascinating legends, and enjoy picturesque views. If you wish, we can pause for lunch at a cozy restaurant, where you can try traditional apple strudel and taste excellent local Bavarian beer.

Meet your guide and depart toward Neuschwanstein Castle, enjoying scenic Alpine views along the way. Upon arrival, walk up to the castle or take a shuttle, followed by a guided visit inside (tickets arranged in advance whenever possible).
