Dear travellers, my name is Stefan, I am a native-born Münchner who has spent his previous life all over the world. After the completion of my studies of philosophy in Austria and England I decided to come back to my splendid Bavarian home town and I started to work as a journalist and tour guide. In 2006 I was trained and authorised to give tours in Munich and at the Dachau concentration camp memorial site. One of my major interests is the gloomy history of the Third Reich, and I am happy to share my knowledge with you. In 2022 I got my diploma as a certified beer sommelier, and I just created a new tour: the Munich beer journey - a walking tour with beer tastings. Check it out! I like to be outdoors as much as possible, and in my free time I do a lot of road cycling and hiking. And on request I also offer bicycle and hiking tours in Munich and in the Alps. Stefan was a wonderful tour guide. We had landed that morning and were a little tired, but he was so kind to take the time to sit and explain some history and information about the city. We had a great time learning about the history of Munich. We would recommend this tour to everyone.
Stefan was a wonderful guide. In 2 and 1/2 hours, he walked us around Munich, showing us the highlights and explaining the city's history. My son is quite a history buff and Stefan earnestly answered all of his questions. He also took us for the most part wonderful coffee and perfect pretzel! If it's your first visit to Munich and you want a great orientation, Stefan is your guy!

Stefan’s tour was just what we wanted and needed for our beginning in Munich. He explained the interesting and important history very well to give us context and pique our interest. Stefan is a nice and interesting person, very easy to be with. He walked us around the key sights in the Old Town area, showed us inside a few, and gave us a great roadmap and advice for what to do during the rest of our stay. He explained the history very well and made it interesting and enjoyable. He tailored the tour to what we wanted to see and learn, so it was great for us. Highly recommend.

We really felt we saw all the site of Old Town and able to ask questions. Stephen is very in touch with what your interests are. Had I researched the history of Munich more before arriving, I could tell he would have been a great resource for more in-depth questions. As it was, he prepared us for more in-depth exploration on our own. Thanks!
