I grew up in Munich and its wonderful suburbs and live now for more than 30 years with my husband and our two daughters in the pulsing heart of the city - the Gärtnerplatz. It is a meeting and melting point where you can daily experience the modern spirit of Munich. Even as a child I was always fascinated by history, art and of course by travelling. That's why I studied art history, anthropology and archeology in Munich. As a student I travelled around the word, visiting historical highlights and meeting so many friendly local people. They showed me their countries and allowed me to participate. Thereafter I started working as a tour guide for Studiosus - the biggest study trip company in Europe. I am specialized in the Benelux-States and the Southern States. In the same time I started as a tour guide in Munich to give back some of the wonderful experiences I made on my trips. Munich is a wonderful, adorable and cute city with many hidden places to discover. Without a doubt - Munich has its historical highlights. To experience this wonderful town, you have to try our local food. In an old farmer land and a city steeped in history with many traditions through the year - we do have created our own food - the Bavarian Cuisine. Our Royals - the house of Wittelsbach developed a presentable impressive heavy Cuisine. We are proud to have one of the largest selections of bread, sausages and beer in the world. Our delicious desserts are inspired by the Austrian Cuisine - Kaiserschmarrn, Apfelstrudel and Schmalznudeln. Lets stroll through the city and its famous Viktualienmarkt and lets experience the taste of Munich!
Susanna certainly knows her Munich food and is proud of it. A small tour of the old town was a great way to work up an appetite. She took us to the local outdoor market where she bought all sorts of food- bread, cheese, sausages, pickles which we ate with good Munich beer. Perfect way to start our Munich adventures

Susanna was the best tour guide ever. This was our first time in Munich and boy it was overwhelming due to the amount of people there and I can tell you Susanna showed us so much that our overwhelming feeling went away and we were truly absorbing the culture of this beautiful country! Honestly me and my wife had the greatest time and we went to so many places and the food was amazing. Thank you Susanna for making it so special for us in the less hours we were there.
