Grüß Gott! - As we say in Bavaria for Hello ;-) I was born and raised in Munich, as well as my parents, grandparents and great-granparents. . . So I know and love this city by heart. I remember how fascinated I have been as a kid, when my grandmother took me to the beautiful churches, the amazing museums, the medieval alleys, or the magnificient royal palaces. It was then that I felt the desire of becoming a tour guide for the first time. . . A couple of years later, after becoming a journalist and a TV Host, I made my dream come true and started the official training of becoming a Tourguide in Munich. I love having guests, I love connecting with people, I love showing people my hometown with it's fascinating stories, unique architecture, it's history, the fantastic traditional bavarian food and it's special flair, which you can only find in Munich Bavaria. This city has a lot to offer and I am looking forward to discover it togehter with you! Certified Tourguide for the City of Munich and the state of Bavaria Member of BVGD + MGV I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Hitler began his political career in Munich. His party NSDAP was founded here. During the Nazi-Regime Munich bore the name "Capital of the Movement" and played an important role in the staging of political celebrations and the Führer myth. On this tour I will share, what my grandmother told me about growing up in Munich during the Nazi-Regime. We will learn a lot about german history, about the rise and Fall of the Nazi-Regime. We will visit places of importance during that time, places you know from your history-books. And you will hear about restistance, that was taking place in Munich as well. You will learn about munichs dark and difficult time, which involves topics that are hard to talk about, but yet it is important to do it, for this history may never be repeated.

Our tour of Munich with Miriam was one of the highlights of our trip. She has an exceptional ability to bring history to life by connecting important historical events with personal stories from her own family’s experiences. That perspective made the tour feel authentic, memorable, and far more meaningful than simply hearing dates and facts. Miriam has a wonderful presentation style, engaging, knowledgeable, and easy to follow. She seamlessly weaves together history, culture, architecture, and local insight in a way that keeps you interested from start to finish. Her passion for Munich and its history is evident, and she answers questions thoughtfully while keeping the tour interactive and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Munich and want a guide who can make the city’s history both educational and deeply personal, I highly recommend booking a tour with Miriam. You’ll leave with a much greater appreciation for Munich, its people, and the events that shaped it.
Miriam did a wonderful job with our tour in Munich. We had two teenage boys on our trip and she was so patient and talked the entire time with them and answered all of their questions. She was very knowledgeable and shared about her own life as well. With the heat wave she ensured we were in shade and had cool beverages. Highly recommend!
Miriam presents an excellent tour starting from the old town hall and walking out to see many sites. Along the way Miriam relates stories from her family’s experiences. You learn about how Hitler started in Munich and his frequent returns to the city. We enjoyed the afternoon walking with and learning from Miriam. I highly recommend this tour.
Miriam was awesome prior to booking to ensure we had the tour we wanted and to make modifications throughout the tour for what we wanted to see and what was important to us. Our tour included my older parents and Miriam was great at modifying the tour to allow a slower pace and more rest breaks. A break at the market for a beer and pretzel was perfect! Would highly recommend this tour as the information Miriam gave was really interesting regarding old town Munich and the history with WWII. For my parents also, Miriam's was easy to understand and hear throughout the tour. 100% would recommend Miriam to anyone!
The tour was very informative. Miriam did an excellent job of recreating the setting surrounding the origins of the Third Reich. She has a charming personality and made the tour very comfortable.
