Scott is an excellent guide and I would highly recommend using him. He gives you both a clear understanding of the history of Munich as well as how its current citizens live their day to day lives. We visited not only palaces and museums but also beerhall and food markets. If you are new to Munich, Scott give you a perspective that helps you understand what you are seeing as you as you walk around the city for the rest of your trip.

Scott was more than accommodating for me and my 92 year old father. We missed our flight from Croatia, drove all night to get to Munich for the tour, and graciously Scott was able to delay the start of our tour to give us the chance to sleep a bit before the tour. Scott had wonderful knowledge of the history of Munich, pictures to show the past as we looked at the present, and was willing to make a beer stop the two times we requested it. Your Munich tour itinerary
- Staring at your hotel in the morning, we will make our way to Munich's old town. - On the way, you'll hear plenty about the founding of Munich, its experience during wartime, and what it is like to live here now. -Starting at Marienplatz, the main square, we see the town hall & its Glockenspiel. -The old & new residences of the royal family, the Hofbräuhaus, the open-air Viktualienmarkt, and several churches, such as the iconic Frauenkirche. -We also walk part of route that Hitler's failed Putsch attempt of 1923. We'll also see where he attended his first meeting of the DAP (German Worker's Party - later the NSDAP) and visit where he gave his first major public speech. Our route adjusts for season, weather, day of the week, and special events.
