Neuschwanstein and more - Day Trip from Munich

We had a wonderful day in Bavaria. Thomas was a great tour guide and driver. He gave us a comprehensive history of the area and the sights. He provided a number of options for us to consider and tailored the tour to our preferences. The Neuschwanstein Castle and Oberammergau were the highlights; but in addition, we visited the Ettal monastery and the Wieskirche. Both are great examples of baroque architecture in Bavaria. Thomas had a wonderful lunch suggestion in a small town cheese market. It was a great day. We highly recommend Thomas as a guide.

This was such a great day! Thomas was an excellent guide! He picked us up early in the morning so we’d have to do as many things as possible. We stopped at two churches, toured Neuschwanstein and Linderhof and still had time for a delicious cheese lunch at a local farm and time to walk around Oberammergau. Thomas provides several options for the day so we had choices and he was great at translating for us at each stop. He was especially helpful at the cheese farm by telling us what options we had and making sure the staff knew what we wanted. He also provided a lot of history and background information as we traveled. This is a great way to see the area and sites while relaxing in comfort as he drives you around. I highly recommend this tour! You won’t go wrong with Thomas!

Thomas was a great guide and driver for our day long visit to Neuschwanstein, Linderhof, and Oberammergau. He arranged our skip the line tickets, and walked us right to the door of each stop. On the journey, he told us all about the history of the region and stopped to show us a wonderful rococo style church. His warm, infectious laugh kept us smiling through a day filled with rain, snow, and sun. Truly an amazing day.

Amazing tour from Thomas! Insightful, friendly, and always ready with a good idea, Thomas provided an excellent highlights tour of the Bavarian countryside. Highly recommend! Ask him to take you to the cheese farm after Neuschwanstein -- a highlight of the trip to lunch on a charcuterie board of Alpine cheese, meat, bread, and, of course, local beer.
